Don't know if this as been said already but when nasty heads the ball back Joe goes to try and head it himself as it's going over him!! Why did he not just stop it with his hands and take a red for the team the chances are we would have come away with the point we deserved!!

-- Mon Oct 28, 2013 7:05 am --

Don't know if this as been said already but when nasty heads the ball back Joe goes to try and head it himself as it's going over him!! Absolutely gifted Chelsea 2 points out of a situation where there was no danger at all!
This is one of the problems when a keeper starts to think he is a football player! It's a shame; he has been playing better, but this might actually be the kick up the backside he needs for him to realize he needs to go back to fundamentals, not thinking he is a Franz Beckenbaur.

how was it his fault!

Joe came out to head the ball away, something he has done countless times. Nastasic should have seen it but instead headed it over hart

Because it was.

Time for him to be dropped. No doubt about it.

If he doesn't react well time to replace him in Jan. Valdez, Casillas or possibly Begovic. One of them will come.

This can't keep happening from Joe and we have said this for a while now. Something has to change otherwise the words continually are said to no effect. Time for the bench Joe .

This is not a 'bad patch' Hart is going through. This is him, period. He can be magnificent in one game and commit howlers in the next. He had a good 18 months when he made his reputation, but he has been dropping bollocks now which have been costing us games for the last season and a bit. That is not a 'bad patch', that is confirmation of his inconsistency.

If this was one bad game it would be inconsequential, if it was five bad games it would be a 'bad patch', but this isn't that, it has gone on and on and on. I have no confidence that he isn't going to fuck up in a game and more to the point, the rest of the players, after such a protracted period of fuck ups, will have no confidence in him either. It's time to get shut and get a keeper who is up to the required standard. As I've said on an earlier , currently, Chelsea, Spurs, Utd, Liverpool and even Stoke have a better keeper than us.

I thought after Cardiff n Villa that should have woke the dosey bastard up but he is such a bighead it hasn't sunk in for his own sake and ours he has to be dropped he has cost us too much already. We do have another keeper ?

Joe came out to head the ball away...
It was his fault for that very fucking reason. Why did he need to come out at all? Nastasic was in control and needed Hart on the 6 yard line to receive his header. And even if he somehow loses out to Torres, if Hart is still on his line he's got a chance of saving it. But by rushing out without thinking, he kills both those possibilities.

This is a really hard position to be in for Pellegrini, droping Hart can have two outcomes. first is he realises he´s s**t and improves and comes back stronger and better than ever or he completely loses he´s confidence and well get even worse. and of course the constant pressure from media ain´t helping. but i have a feeling Pells will stick with Hart for the ppl games. whether it´s the right choice or not remains to be seen.

Think he's been watching Manual Neuer and thinkin, "I can do that." Well Joseph, you obviously can't. Neuer is mad forrit. He regularly comes out of his box to clear, or receive a pass and acts as an 11th outfield player. Joe on the other hand, doesn't know when to come out. I think the coaching for goalies in our country, seriously needs to be looked at. Get Olli Kahn in or summat.
