Paddy Barclay on the paper review thinks Hart "is over confident"...

I think that could have been said of Joe in the past, now however I'd swap that for 'not good enough at the moment'.

Joe clearly has work to do, perhaps mentally more than anything as it seems to be the decision making part of his game that causes the problems. I hope he can work through it, get his game back and be our No 1 for years to come.
We can't afford many more fuck ups though, so until he does sort his head out he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. Harsh maybe, but the side has to come first.

Although I place most of the blame on Joe for the loss of seven points this season,I cannot understand why MP changed from zonal marking (fact it worked) to man to man (isn't working) I don't think this has helped Joe. Zab said they were all finding it difficult to adjust. Can anyone tell me why MP has tried to fix something that was working perfectly ?.

It wasn't, it was so/so.

It's more of a problem having central defenders who don't know each other or don't even jump off the ground when marking John Terry.

But have we been letting in loads of goals because of non zonal recently ? When ?

Since the change we have gone backwards at a hundred miles per hour defensively (fact) it still doesn't explain to me why MP changed a system that was the best in the league?

Don't a lot of top sportsmen and women use Sports pschychologists now?

Could this help? I am not sure. When you look at his overall game he has so many things to improve on.

Distribution-Been quite poor for a long time now.
Decision making - Again his decisions are baffling at times. Why rush out of his goal? Just stay in the box and collect the backward header.
Shot Stopping-Not a huge issue with this but I think he has learnt to parry to the side rather than back into the danger zone which Joe always used to do.When I look back at the Dortmund game, last year this was the Joe we had all come to believe in.

I actually think hope the club bring another goalkeeper in to really give him some top level competition if they aren't going to sell him.

Can't think of a club with two 'top level' keepers. If we brought in a top keeper I'd imagine he'd play and Hart would be off.

Yep, once Joe is dropped and a new keeper brought in, he will have reached the end of the road with City. It's time to back him or sack him (so to speak), because his confidence is already shattered. Dropping him won't solve that problem so I suspect he'd have to rebuild himself elsewhere. It's a sad state of affairs, but one that can't possibly continue for much longer.

It's a fact that we've gone backwards at a hundred miles per hour?
