I've just been listening to Talkshite, they're saying he's been dropped but all I've heard is that Peli said in his press conference 'you'll find out if he's playing tomorrow'.

Are they just being their usual stirring twat self?

Re: Joe dropped?

I suppose they have a 50/50 chance of being correct.
That's all it is though. Speculation, or in our terms...horse shit

Obviously there's a real possibility that Pants will be in nets tomorrow so I reckon the press our just trying to boost their credibility with an early 'exclusive'

I doubt Joe would respect Pellers way of telling him man to man, as reported, but then blab to others and the papers.

Looks like that leaks come from the squad themselves.

The correct call in my opinion. Hart will be back and this may well make him a better keeper. He's a strong personality, a focused pro and a bright bloke. He will surely know that he's been backed to the hilt and also that Pants deserves a chance.

I hope the club are giving him as much support as possible because the media are going to be all over him especially next time he plays. If we lose tomorrow then the shit will really hit the fan,I feel very uneasy with this although i can see why the decision has been taken

The media won't be all over him now he's out the side. But they would have been if he was playing tomorrow. That maybe part of the rationale behind this decision.

It will be nothing but questioning Joe's position in the England team and whether he should go to Brazil etc while he's on the bench and then when he comes back to the first team he'll be under more scrutiny in that first match back than ever before.

No escape really

Correct decision if he's dropped. Well done MP for making a brave decision....and to Hart consider this a kick up the arse and get back to your best .... you've got competition now.

Must agree.

After standing by him for the Everton home game after Bayern , this had to be done.
