I'm gonna give it one last go as the other 3 times i've asked not one of Joes critics on here has bothered to even try.

Post the videos for Hart's catalogue of errors that have cost us a match. I'll give you the Chelski one to start you off even though Nastasic has admitted making a mistake for that one as well.

It's been repeated so many times, on here and in the media, that the 'string of errors' line has passed into fact when it is far from the truth.

I'm off to the boozer now but will expect a string of videos here when i get back...

Mistakes do not equal costing a match, if someone makes a mistake then that is a problem regardless of it costing us because eventually if there are a string of mistakes, a few of them will start costing you.

and I'd be delighted if he ironed out his weaknesses and became our record appearance maker by being our keeper for at least the next decade.

I was questioning another posters statement that Harts mistakes had cost us results. I would categorise a blunder/error/cock-up/mistake/hash by a keeper as one that results in a goal when under little or no pressure. Your first vid fits this category perfectly.
All of the others apart from the corner he was nowhere near are not goals that can be solely attributed to a Hart error.

Disagree a bit, I think the Scotland goal he should be keeping out, I think the Arsenal goals his hesitation and poor positioning contributed, the Southampton and West Ham are completely his fault, the Blackburn one it was partly defender but again like Chelsea if he's coming out he has to shout early, keep communicating and get there, so again I have to say mostly his fault, like at Chelsea. Again in the Sweden game he comes, this time gets there but puts in a really weak header, and is very harshly punished by Ibra but if you isolate Hart's contribution it's still a poor header. Poland and Cardiff are 2 corners that unlike in the Spurs vid I just posted where he cleared Vinnie away and got there he completely misjudged, again his fault. Switzerland Milner shares the blame as he left the wall but Hart was really weak at his near post, should be doing better. Bayern he was very weak handed on both goals, misjudgment or whatever neither the first nor the third should be going in against a keeper of his quality and known talent.

There's also his error against Real Madrid which cost us a point last season that could have changed our CL campaign.

You cant forget his brilliance in the championship season, but his confidence his shot now. I'd give him at least 2-3 months on the bench and allow him to reset his engine and come back hungrier.

Bale's was a good finish and there was no goalie error. Also, many on here recognised Joe was making errors that were costing us results whilst he was still a media favourite.

Joe will be back better for this break if he is a champion but he may have to wit for Leicester in the Cup to show he has recaptured his form. Joe may also get game time for a england in the friendlies.

We wouldnt have been close to Madrid if it wasnt for Hart that game. Mistake at the end spoiled an amazing game, every bit as good as his performance against Dortmund at home.
