Superb post
what happened to the vids of all the other Hart errors? He put about 8 up.
Joe's show trial has been edited for knockers with short attention spans

and you shortened it even further strangely...

clearly the ... underneath the second vid signified he was saving space by not quoting every vid again, which was a nice gesture in keeping the thread tidy.

some of us Joe loyalists have short attention spans too ;-)

Peter Schmeichel via BBC, rag or fuckwit?

There's also his error against Real Madrid which cost us a point last season that could have changed our CL campaign.

You cant forget his brilliance in the championship season, but his confidence his shot now. I'd give him at least 2-3 months on the bench and allow him to reset his engine and come back hungrier.
Oh, you mean the game where without his brilliance we'd have been 4 down by half time? And where Kompany ducked at the last min?

Great example.

He's showing him more loyalty than many self titled "blues" on here.

That's not a dig at those who are criticizing his mistakes, but one at those taking the piss.

From someone who's forgot more about goalkeeping than anyone on here knows;

But Schmeichel, who played for both Manchester clubs, told BBC 5 live: "I don't think he's done too much wrong.
"Sometimes things aren't working for you, but when it's Joe Hart it's highlighted like he's killed someone."
"I disagree with Pellegrini's decision. I disagree with the whole debate about Joe Hart," he added.
"He might have had the odd situation, but he hasn't gone from being an absolutely brilliant keeper to what he is being portrayed as now.

The problem Joe has now is that if Pantilimon doesn't make a mistake, Pellegrini is not going to be able to drop him

"Why is it that when you finally have an English goalkeeper who has the quality to become the first part of the spine that can actually take England somewhere, everyone wants to drag this kid down?
"You have a unique goalkeeper here, someone who is very, very good even on his bad days.
"When you look at the goals he has been criticised for, at some point they could have been prevented by a defender or it was a misunderstanding.
"It is not down to Joe Hart on his own. Manchester City have got problems at the back."

Schmeichel is being completely consistent with what I've heard him say before on keepers who are out of form or having a tricky patch, fair play to him. He has a view, a view informed by his vast goalkeeping experience, and he's applying it consistently.

Goalkeepers tend to stick up for each other.

Hart will definitely get a run in December no matter how well Costel plays. City will want to see if he's recovered form before the transfer window opens.

I think Costel will get the Sunderland, Spurs and Swansea games with Hart playing against Plzen and Bayern (if its a dead rubber). After that it will depend on how each play, but Hart will get a run
