I just find it funny he demand to come here and wear 9 or 10, like he thinkings he is ronaldo, when there is 3 world class strikers in front of him. Maybe you can do this at another club, not city my friend. Maybe when he comes and trains with tevez balotelli aguero dzeko he will get humbled a little cause that is what he needs

hes always thought of himself as a legend, wrongly in my opinion

Sometimes so-called "world class" doesn't matter if they don't fit in. Dzeko is struggling here, Mario is inconsistent on the pitch and consistently suspended - neither guaranteed to be here next season either. You only need to look at players like Cisse (Newcastle), Jelavic (Everton), Welbeck (United), and Pogrebnyak (Fulham) to see those not "world class" who can have a big impact because of their high work ethic and desire to score.

Sometimes high cost/"world class" doesn't = better for the team, you need those who will bust their arse off and get stuck in, Guidetti is one of those strikers who will give 100% for most of the game, track back, and work hard. Whether he fits in remains to be seen but he has that aura of someone who would bleed for whatever shirt he's wearing that could give our first team squad something unique.

Your right about high cost/worldclass and that he would give 100% i don´t doubt that but do you need this "Kid" crying in the newspapers talking " i wan´t to play more or I will leave, I diden´t come to city to sit on the bench" Enough drama surrourdning this club. He should go out a loan and prove himself and come back next year probably if he´s good enough end of story.

Maybe Im stupid and dont understand what you are saying, but isnt that exactly what he has been doing this season? Or you mean, prove himself in PL before asking for a fair chance at City?

I think that all this talk is nothing more than that John dont want to be regarded as a youth or young player, but as a regular squad members just like the other strikers we have, Balo, Dzeko, Tevez and Agüero. Not demanding to start every game, but in the eyes of the manager, seen as a vial option for every game and being picked depending of form, opposition and tactical formation...

Well well, time will tell...

Well, Guidetti has said goodbye to the Feyenoord fans tonight at the end of the final home game of the season. When Cabral scored the 2-0 and copied/honoured Guidetti's celebration by planking, Guidetti was seen crying and clapping in the stands.

He received a great standing ovation by the fans and was held up onto the Feyenoord players shoulders.

It seems that his recovery is going very slowly and that his disease will not be going away soon. He will deffo miss the Euros and needs to rest a lot for the next few months.

The papers here say he's getting shock therapy treatment to try and get rid of the mystery illness.

And that Feyenoord want him back next season but I can't see any benefit for that, if he is going back out on loan it has to be at a higher level or else at the end of next season we'd have the same "Can he do it in a top league?" questions.

Feyenoord have guaranteed themselves of a Europa League spot today and could qualify for the Champions League qualifying round if they win their last game of the season away to Heerenveen. It would be great for him to experience that. He's also playing in front of 50.000 fans that adore him, a guaranteed starter, fantastic management team and he's been progressing immensely over the past 12 months.

Where in the PL would Guidetti be a guaranteed starter and is he allowed to play the right kind of football? I'm not sure Brendan Rogers would pick him ahead of Danny Graham. He would only be guaranteed a starting place at shit clubs playing shit football that will be of no help whatsoever.

Well, Wigan and Bolton would be two if both stay up, he's a lot better than Di Santo and N'Gog. But two points - even if he didn't begin as a guaranteed starter at another club, if he's as good as we think/hope, he soon would be. And it doesn't necessarily have to be the Premier League where he goes on loan, the Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga are a level or two up from the Eredivisie. There are many clubs in all three of those leagues he could start at.

How switched on and determined does this kid seem ? If he has half the ability to match his ambition we have a top player on our hands.

Hope he gets his health problems sorted and plays in the Euros. Be interesting to see him on the same pitch as Danny Sturridge or the overhyped Welbeck.
