Was 16 ( 8 years ago ) when it happened, playing competitive footie on a very bad pitch and all of a sudden I felt this huge pain in my hamstring when I was sprinting and I thought I pulled my hamstring as I didn't had any hamstring injuries before in my life so I didn't know what it was and it hurt like hell. Went to the club physio the day after and he told me my muscles were fine and that the big red dot I had on that place was very concerning. So I went to see 3 specialists and the neurologist finally gave me the verdict ( neuritis )
It is a rare disease as even he couldn't give me a clear explanation on what it caused and how long it may take to recover. He only said it would take 3 to 12 months depending on the recovery of your nerves.
I also had shock therapy but that didn't help that much. I remember I was so depressed that period. I loved playing footy and there I was with a mysterious disease that fucks everything up and even hurts when I walk or sit down.
Eventually, after 6 months I forced it. I trained trough the pain and it was tough and probably not my smartest decision in life but after a month or so the pain went away and I was back doing the thing I love the most...

Feyenoord's technical director has stated that Guidetti will be part of City's pre-season. Should he not take his chance, he will be loaned out (Feyenoord's director say that they have a very very small chance of loaning him again).

Ya, that would be a good decision by City if so. Don't want players like Guidetti getting too attached to the clubs they are loaned to. Whatever emotional attachment they may feel, they are still City players. He has already started saying "#Feyenoordtillidie" or some crap like that...
Guidetti's not a great singer....video was shot after Feyenoord reached the CL qualifying round for the first time in 9 years.

Feyenoord's win without him today put paid to PSV's chances of CL qualification - this is excellent news because they were ahead in the rankings and would have been in Pot 2 instead of us. If Lille win tomorrow and Inter don't perform a miracle in their last game we should definitely be in Pot 2.
Feyenoord finished 2nd on the ranking and reached the CL quilifiers, an huge achievement. After the 2-3 victory in Heerenveen the players headed back to Rotterdam where 30.000 fans where waiting. Playing in the CL would be amazing because Feyenoord were in financial problems last years. Guidetti still couldn't play and was waiting at the stadium. Yesterday he said he is still hopeful to be fit next month for Sweden.
