Feyernoord are skint and wont be buying him . So the lad will be going to Ajax .
Ajax can't afford his wages either.
I think Ajax have a bit more money than Feyernoord . Your right though the Dutch league doesn't have a lot of money .

Supposedly it's a loan deal to Feyernoord.
Bloody pointless letting Feyernoord have him on loan . We might as well let him go on a free transfer .

He has a good season, his value is up. Then we have a £5 million asset again. Hughesless pretty much ruined any value he had.

Another problem we have with this lad is injuries . Its hard to know what value you would put on him . He did well at Feyernoord on that season loan . But like you say last season he was the invisible man . He would have been better going to a French team last season instead of Stoke last season .

We should never let a young player go on loan again without some sort of recall clause in the deal. The idea of letting them go on loan is to get them some invaluable first team experience. If they aren't going to be played by the loaning club then we need to recall them and send them somewhere where they will get first team action.

If we wanted a loan player to be sat on the bench then he could just sit on the bench at City, at least he'd have the benefit of training with our first team which would be better for them than training with a bunch of low-middle table players (or even worse, Championship level).

I find it hard to believe he is still on our payroll.

I agree, another loan is pointless, cut him loose for a modest fee and a decent sell on clause.

Spot on .

A loan not likely because his contract runs out in June 2015 unless they've stealthily renewed.

So it's either renew + loan or sell now.
