I think Ajax have a bit more money than Feyernoord . Your right though the Dutch league doesn't have a lot of money .Stretfordian_Blue said:Ajax can't afford his wages either.baildon blue said:Feyernoord are skint and wont be buying him . So the lad will be going to Ajax .
Bloody pointless letting Feyernoord have him on loan . We might as well let him go on a free transfer .Mr. Aguia said:baildon blue said:Feyernoord are skint and wont be buying him . So the lad will be going to Ajax .
Supposedly it's a loan deal to Feyernoord.

Another problem we have with this lad is injuries . Its hard to know what value you would put on him . He did well at Feyernoord on that season loan . But like you say last season he was the invisible man . He would have been better going to a French team last season instead of Stoke last season .schfc6 said:baildon blue said:Bloody pointless letting Feyernoord have him on loan . He has a good season, his value is up. Then we have a £5 million asset again. Hughesless pretty much ruined any value he had.
We should never let a young player go on loan again without some sort of recall clause in the deal. The idea of letting them go on loan is to get them some invaluable first team experience. If they aren't going to be played by the loaning club then we need to recall them and send them somewhere where they will get first team action.baildon blue said:Another problem we have with this lad is injuries . Spot on .FantasyIreland said:I find it hard to believe he is still on our payroll.
I agree, another loan is pointless, cut him loose for a modest fee and a decent sell on clause.
