John Guidetti

Felipe Caicedo is exactly what we need right now.

Granted, would've been useful. Not quite our level but take see a reason why he couldn't of been our 'Hernandez' type. Criminal how we let him go so cheaply.

He was an absolute beast too.

They are two completely different players so it's hard for someone to suggest this indeed. Sturridge has a lot more experience on a higher level so he's definitely ahead of Guidetti in that aspect.

Guidetti will never make it at City because there is just too much competition for places and he's still regarded as a rookie/youth player (He's almost 21 !). It's impossible for him to improve his status at City so he needs to be loaned out for at least two full seasons or he has to be sold.

City will never allow themselves to be reliant on Guidetti. City can buy almost any striker in the world so the likes of Falcao etc will always be brought to the club in case something happens to the worldclass strikers already at City. He's a fourth choice striker and that will always be his role if he doesn't leave the club. Guidetti is not worldclass (at the moment) and cannot become a worldclass player at City.
