Hope I'm wrong but can't seem to have the same enthusism as some on here and yes I have seen his Feyenoord goals. However, there have been enough strikers who were prolific in Holland and then did nothing over here.

Saw a picture from one of last weeks EDS games on the os and thought he looked a lot leaner than he has for a while , maybe getting somewhere near full fitness.

if you were sat on your backside for near enough 9/12 months unable to really do anything of note wouldn't you or anyone pile on a few unwanted pounds, Tevez and Kolo are prime examples of this the more he gets back into some form of regime the weight will drop off and he will become leaner, take your point about the Eredivisie though most notable example of such a player being Alfonso Alves he had a strike record of over a goal a game there but i suppose the ball still needs to be put in the back of the net regardless of league or level.

Looks clumsy on this vid
I can think of 2: Samaras and Alfonso Alves (Neither of which had as impressive record as Guidetti had for a debut season)our tommy said:I am yet to be convinced by him.
