He's the natural successor to Vinnie. Though I'm hoping we get another season or so out of our leader.

He deserved the Vinne word to describe last night's performance: imperious.

He is making me eat humble pie too. I haven’t been a fan of his but he has looked great this season.

He's made a complete turn around this season. Much more assertive and aggressive in defending situations. Last season he was always backing off even as they entered the area, now he makes the challenge when they reach the danger zone. Looking so much better.
Use of the ball is superb, but that was never an issue.

He started against Brighton when we played a back three, think he was rested/dropped against Bournemouth when we reverted to a back two, after he was subbed of against Everton because Walker was sent off.
