Fair points, hopefully he is just a bit rusty post injury.the style and type of passing game we play all of our defenders will make mistakes at some point. saying that name a centre back or defender in england that makes no mistakes at all?. i actually thought he got pushed/played alright today swell.
its not just that pep rates him, he has the talent to become a top class player. anyone whos watched us this season can see that.
Thought he was pushed in the back and should've had a free kick tbh.
Needs game time to rebuild both his confidence and fitness, its no big deal and to be expected.
Oh get real mate. He's a six foot plus CB who's been outmuscled embarrassingly from a tiny forward. It's the third mistake in a week he's made and he's got to improve.
Yep,he could and should have been stronger,my point is....had he been 100% im sure he would have been.
I’m afraid I agree completely. Doesn’t excuse the clusterfuck that occurred for the next 10minutes but it defo was the turning point.I've a feeling Pep will be having a word with a few of them this week. His error cost us the game for me. We had control of the game at that point. That turned it hugely in their favour. It wasn't a foul, it was poor defensive play for the third time in 8 days and he needs to snap out of it and quickly.
Not being 100% isn't an excuse for being weak and putting a pathetic attempt in.
