Another to the list of players that need replacing. This rebuild is going to cost a hell of a lot of cash.
Fucking worrying considering we have pretty much rebuild the squad since 2016. Now another needed. Bravo, Stones, Otamendi, Mendy, Mahrez, Gundogan need to be shipped out. On top of that Silva is going and Aguero soon too. Expect another £500m spending splurge or so.

Agree. The jury is still very much out on Rodri, Jesus and Cancelo too.

Another English lad who thinks he's better than his after a spawny WC run. If he doesn't knuckle down he's out.

He wanders around like he’s not switched on. He’s a big guy, but he is softer than a spoonful of melted cheese.

Something to do with us lacking the leadership of a certain Belgian?

I think that’s a big part of it but I thought prior to this season that we had other big personalities in this squad. Maybe they were just feeding off Vinny and now he is gone, they don’t know what to do.

He’s played very well of late but made a big mistake today. Generally I thought he played well with the ball though.

When?

People said he played well last week, seemingly totally ignoring Chelsea’s goal. Yet again, the ball went sailing over his head, ended up in the back of our net, with Stones jogging back towards our goal, 30 yards behind the play, hands by his sides and having had no defensive influence whatsoever.

If all we want from our £50m centre back is him playing square balls, then he is bloody perfect. This guy was average at Everton and he’s worse than average now.

He has not improved one bit since he came to the club and he has no longer got the excuse of being a kid with potential. He is now a guy in his mid 20s, training and playing under the best manager in the world, in an unbelievable side. How on gods fucking earth, do you regress as a player in that situation?

He is weak-minded and a defender who cannot defend, when he leaves City, he will be lucky if a mid-table side takes him.

He's soft, always has been. I don't even care about the occasional slip up on the ball that the England fans hate, that's part of the price of a ball playing centerback. The problem is that he just is too timid, he lets things happen instead of being aggressive and trying to stop them. When he was playing well a couple of years ago, he was confident and assertive, but as soon as something happens, his head drops and he starts being timid again, for months
