The rags had a bid of £100m rejected, as per Di Marzio. With paying off Raiola for selling his soul again, they could spend up to £150m to get their ex-Academy lad back.

Im about as bothered by the fee as I am about him signing which is slim to nil. Work on Mangala and put the cash towards a player that will actually improve our starting 11.

And we baulked at Kroos wanting 240k a week ? Current UCL winner and 70+ caps for Germany. Yet happy to value Stones at £50-60 million - a largely unproven 22 yo who will want wage parity with the likes of Sterling you'd imagine. I'd rather get Kroos and give Denayer a chance.

Can we please stop quoting numbers from the papers and getting irate. Most people do not have a clue about fees wages etc and those that do don't usually blab. Everton might like it put out there that his fee is huge to stop the backlash from their fans and it is a stick with which to beat "moneybags" City it doesn't mean it is true

Kroos would be a game changer for us,so I do find it bizarre if the rumours are true about the wages being an issue.
