Why not I have seen strongest of people going weak at their knees when money is put in front of them. Everyone has a price.

It would take Barca (or someone at that level--3-4 teams) and 50 million at least which is currently around 65 million Euros. Don't see it personally.

Would be ridiculously solid. Would allow our fullbacks/wingbacks a lot of creative freedom.

No,that would be Smalling.As for blaming him for their last two goals.......had Howard moved his arse at nothing more than the expected speed.....he would easily have cleared the back pass.So while vastly over priced,Stones certainly looks the best English prospect out there

As he's struggling a bit at the moment we should be moving heaven and earth to sort the transfer out now (maybe we are 'on it') I don't know.

Acting now wiil be a bit cheaper than when he's back in vogue also saves the fannying about either side of the Euros that will inevitably happen if nobody forces the issue.
