Seems so long ago that people were speculating that we'd get him at a 'cut price' £30m because he was coming off the back of a shocking season.
And yet here we are in July talking about spunking £50m on him.

Really, really, hope he doesn't become another expensive flop. He will have to drastically improve from the player he is at present to not be.
