Why aren't the deals done? Why did we allow Laporte to sit and talk with Bilbao? Yes we thought he'd turn them down but remove his opportunity to do so and he'd be here.

Can't have been 100% sold on the move, and do we need / want players who don't really want to be with us ?

How do you know this is what's happening? gen question

We cant force Everton to sell but we can set the pace for negotiations. Its been reported that we still havent made a formal offer, which means its us "dragging our heels" on the negotiating process because its only us that can start it (i.e by making an official offer)

How do you know? You are entitled to your opinion but people with vastly more experience in transfers are dealing with player acquisition. If it was that simple we would not need a team to do the work.

Or just maybe he didn`t want to live in England. Why should he.Not all players want to work with Pep.Not all players want to play in PL.Not all players fancy a night at Stoke. Not all players want to play for MCFC.What is so difficult to understand ? Do you honestly believe that we have a god given right to all and sundry ... if so, then you`re deluded.

Aren't transfer negotiations all smoke and mirrors ?

Only the people at City know where negotiations are up to - the media reports are basically guessing imo.
