John Stones

I think we should pull away now and let Everton manage the fall out. One man is not going to make or break our season and as others have said £50m could be spent elsewhere. The fact we have not caved in and paid it suggests the club are not that bothered either.

No I haven't,I'm interested in what happens on the pitch to be honest,Pelligrini didn't do a book, but won the league,I'm hoping the same happens here
The Crankies could have won the league with what Pellers inherited... Pep is a planner thankfully and we no longer have to resort to the chicken bones any more to determine tactics...

And I am so grateful that we have him,I really am,but this thread is about the potential signing of John Stones for 50m,which I just do not get,on the evidence of what I have seen, opinion, and opinion only

£50 mill is a lot of money but at the same time we are seeing a window in which Troy deaney is above £30 mill. The simple fact is we are buying young English potential and in reality Utd paid £30 million for Rio back in 2002 so 45-50 now I'm not to fussed about because my opinion is John Stones is perfect for Pep and Manchester city and will become one of the very best in world football.

Not to be too picky, but Deeney ending up going nowhere,no wonder at 30m,I hope that what people see in Stones for the future,is correct.....well if we get him I do
