I had about 12 replies and can't reply to them all so I shan't reply to any, to be fair! :)

Told you. Club won't budge from £50m.

I still expect City to pay it, mind.

I don't. Good luck keeping Stones happy considering he's lost the chance of CL football and probably a £50-70k pay rise. Don't think he'll be extending that current contract after last summer and now this

Terrible news.

No it really isn't. It's the right move to make. If players want to be part of this they can push for the move.

Look at Jesus turning down Barca & rags because he wants to play for Pep. Nolito turned Barca down.

Let's see who really wants to be here.

he will join don't worry all ..after all sterling was similar .. we ended up 49m a full 1m short :)

Txiki !

Stones will only reach his full potential under a manager like Pep. Playing his system, for this he's ideal. Other clubs and managers would view stones style of play a liability. He's not worth anything like Everton expectations to many other clubs. Forget him and move on.

What do you want him to do, stop coming to training? He's still a professional. He put in a transfer request last year and from what we know he's told them he wants to leave, so may have done so again this summer.

If we didn't plan on increasing our offer this all could have been handled a month ago and moved onto other targets.
