He needs to go ASAP. I believe he only has 18 months left on his contract so this is the only summer we will get anything like decent money i.e 20-30mil - surely West Ham or Everton have that sort of money and could go with a centre back?
We have not got Kompany`s replacement yet, lets get that hurdle jumped first. Give it till Christmas to see how it goes, if Pep still does not want him, then move him on, for me that is a Rudiger swap

Always rated John but have been told by a friend of a friend who's family live next door to his that he was always a sound young man but that when he moved to City he became Billy big bollocks and changed completely, Hope he sorts it out but to much to young always dangerous.
Could be true, but they’re probably friends of his ex-partner too, so probably can be taking with a pinch of salt.

Shifting the deadwood is clearly the biggest problem here. Finding takers for Otamendi, Zinchenko, Stones etc hasn't been as easy as expected. Also, don't be fooled by the "giving Stones another chance" angle being peddled about. If someone came in, we would've got shot of him without a second's thought. He's a lucky boy to be entering another season here.

From Adebeyor to Sane it is never easy to balance our wants with others at a fair value, but Stones is lucky and i doubt he understands just how much.

It's dead easy to get rid of Stones, just price him low & he'll get a move. Nobody in the Prem has a backup cb of his quality, even on a bad day & most don't have a first choice as good. He could play in Mourinho's back 10 on acid & find it piss easy.

If he's still here when the window closes, it's because Pep decided to keep him.

But will be lucky to get that chance, if it happens.

Think we'll ship them off out on loan on the last week if no buyers before that. Similar to 2016 summer window.
