Well there is nothing on BBC web site or on SSN. Didn't hear 5 live but you'd think BBC would get a headline on the web site if they'd said it on radio.

They can be miles behind at times, though, SSN. Being as they're a biunch of lazy rag bastards.

The £155,000 quoted is the same one I saw quoted a few days ago as the maximum Chelski were prepared to go to so I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't something in this.

There was nothing official - some journo (missed his name) was on saying he undersatnds JT and Chelsea are nearing agreement on a new contract @ £151k p/w. Nevin was on after, saying other Chelsea players will be queueing up for a payrise - he wasn't particularly anti City, though.
