Apparently Terry was due to appear in a game against Yoevil today but has pulled out owing to unforseen circumstances. Sounds a little like the SWP to Chelsea situation on reverse.

That's if you believe anything you read - I never have before and don't now but thought I'd bring it to your attention so the thread doesn't die ;-)

Didn't you read the three posts above?

The Yeovil issue aside, what a disgusting blog entry.

1. We haven't done or said *anything* publicly, both with Terry and 99% of other transfer targets under this regime

2. The sheer hypocrisy of fans of this fucking club complaining about money, tapping up and egos. Did they forget the Ashley Cole transfer? The Gerrard stuff? Their academy director being accused of tapping up kids the world over (Sturridge included)?

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

Not read the 95 pages in this thread..and don't intend to either, but, why the fook have Chelski come out with this if they don't want to sell, alright we made a bid for their skipper, why tell the world if he ain't for sale. I reckon JT has given us the green light on this and Chelski want to get as much cash as they can for him, that's football and the team with the most money has the power at the end of the day, the softening up process began in the January window and it's coming to an end soon.

I don't think being on holiday counts as an "unforeseen circumstance", unless he's been teleported there or something.

Their fans are shitting bricks. Make no mistake about it. They initially declared defiance. Now the worry is starting to set in. 2 days since the bid. 2 days of silence.

Can't be, Bellamy's currently hitting Germans over the head with golf clubs, moved on from Norwegians.

Just trying to whittle down the possible reasons

If it was a family bereavement they would declare that.

To me it was one of two things - either the transfer business or he just couldn't be bothered. Both are plausible.
