You won't be spending £100 Million every summer and if you do your team will never be settled and will struggle to win
Not often that I agree with you but on this one I do. What we as City fans are seeing in this Transfer Window will probalby never be repeated again. In the future we will have a settled team, and those players will no doubt be quality but in future transfer windows we will only have to tweak the squad bringing in one or two players over a six month period until the next window where again no major reshakes to the squad would take place.
i don't think we will get Terry, I suspect he's playing both clubs against each other which in fairness to him personally is acceptable. To the clubs and their fans then it's a piss take, but that's life.
Absolutely spot on auction294. Just what I've been thinking for a while. This summers spending, whilst it is great fun to watch, will probably never be repeated again. So lets enjoy the moment with a smug smile because we are moving from a club with mid table mediocricy to one that is a serious contender to the top four. Regarding Terry, I'm quite fickle about whether he will join us or not. I hope he does because he will be a 'quality signing, just what the club needs'.
