Not sure what choice Chelski would have. Contracturally they are not obliged to let him go but players never stay where they don't want to be. I'm not saying Terry is willing to consider a move (although it's interesting that he hasn't said anything about the matter) but if someone is offering him £3000,000 per week (which is another "if"), I don't see him wanting to turn it down. Or am I wrong? Has there been a comment from the player or his agent?

Call me a bit excitable but I'm gonna hump it on city - 22/1 to win outright (E/W for 1st and second = 5.5 to 1). That is a top team !!

40 mill transfer fee isnt that much too big, if he was a striker of the same caliber then he would be worth that much, or even more, but i think 300k a week is about 150k too much and is a stupid amount to pay someone.
but it is the sun so its most likley a pile of shit just made up to sell papers.

hope we dont get him!! (sorry ) but i think he,s had it now he,s got a bad back that dose his hamstring in and that has done a lot of top sportsmen in. its hard to sort out ??so maybe a dodgy one this

I don't buy into this "Mr Chelsea" crap or that any player is untouchable. Both Chelsea and Terry will do deals if it's right. I personally don't think it will happen but not because he isn't obtainable. I just reckon from a purely footballing decision he will stay where he is.
Having said that I honestly think the addition of Terry (and Terry in particular) to the current squad would make us a surefire top 4 side. Even without Tevez, Eto'o, Villa, et al.

Much prefer this opening game line up from 4 years ago against Chelsea. We somehow got beat 3-0 as well!
