Chelsea fans are turning on JT becaue of the silence
Just been on CFC forum and they have even posted statistics of games won with him 64% games won without him 68%

They also believe the umbro link is a major factor.

Looks like the silence is doing its job before an announcement is made.

We fly out Wednesday Chelsea fly out Thursday so should be resolved before then

Interesting piece. Some snippets...
For his part, Terry has asked football dealmaker Chris Nathaniel to help negotiate with City. Nathaniel already represents Robinho, the club’s current best-paid player, and Micah Richards. He has previously secured Terry a lucrative book deal
...
City remain confident that Terry will be their player before the new Premier League season begins. The England captain spent part of a recent holiday in Dubai with City manager Mark Hughes
...
When City made their first unsuccessful bid for Terry last January, the player’s agent, Aaron Lincoln, was negotiating the transfer of Wayne Bridge to Eastlands. During that period, Terry had expressed his discontent with then-Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari’s training methods and a message was sent to City that the defender “wanted out”.
...
It is understood that Friday’s decision to withdraw an offer for Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o was partially motivated by City’s belief that Terry will go through with his exit from Chelsea.
...
The London club believe Terry is using City’s overtures to improve his financial position and status at Stamford Bridge, and that the 29-year-old has no serious interest in changing his place of work.

Don't get that....unless we were planning on playing Eto'o as CB...

"For his part, Terry has asked football dealmaker Chris Nathaniel to help negotiate with City"

This and only this is the biggest piece of news since we put the bid in.

Please bear in mind that this is The Times who are not in the business of printing unsubstantiated bullshit.

JT, if he has asked a dealmaker to work on his behalf, is on his way.

There is a theory that we let Chelski have a clear run if we get Terry, i'm not convinced, but you never know

Whoa there galloping horse, that was my theory and it was only something born out the top of my head. There is absolutely no substance to it whatsoever.
