I hope JT makes a statement soon, as to why he wants to leave (if indeed he does). I'd like to know why even a month ago, he was harping on about wanting to be a one club player and loving Chelsea and now it is becoming quite likely he wants to leave? It's not so much he is leaving that irritates me, it's that he appears to be flat out lying when he has declared his love for Chelsea.

It's fair enough to move for extra money and not seeing enough potential at his current club, but just say so. Explain to the people that have paid your wage for the past 15 years that you want to leave for a less successful club that can offer more money and likely silverware in the future, and also explain why if your not happy at the club, why lie about it in almost every bit of press you have done?

In all fairness, if he goes he is going to a club that will be up there with Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Arsenal in a couple of years, but I'd say he is missing out on a brilliant chance to win some silverware this season. Sorry, guys, but I think Chelsea have a far better chance of winning something major than City this season- but just this season ;)

chelsea have not exactly set the world on fire over the last 3 seasons wining the fa cup twice and the league cup once maybe terry feels he has as much chance of wining these trophies at city and will pick up twice as much money for doing it


at the end of the day do you really think chelsea have a good chance wining the prem or champions league this coming season because i dont

also the champions league can be won by 1 of 6-8 teams, to be fair and granted you will be there or there abouts but in my opinion there will be at least 4 teams better equiped to win the CL barcelona,real, utd and liverpool

so really your chances of silver wear are down to 2 trophies the league cup and the fa cup which in my opinion this season coming city will have as much chance of wining as any one

so if i were JT why should i not take citys offer of double my wages and be challenging for the same trophies and deep down this is what JT will be thinking chelsea are being left behind and this will be JTs main concern but i doubt chelsea fans can see it
