Spoke to a media friend today (sports reporter on a paper) and he's hearing that there's increasing alarm at Chelski that Terry is deadly serious about moving to City. They thought he was just using City as bargaining tool for a better contract but it's now dawning on them that he really does want to join City. It's getting interesting.

Until Terry states that he want's to stay at Chelsea.... this will gather momentum.

Listen to what Hughes said.... 'there is a deal to be done'

Im sure he said there was a deal to be done about Ade, not Terry...

Exactly. Hughes basically said he admired JT but he was still very much a Chelsea player.

As Bob Dylan nearly said......the answer my friends is pissing in the wind......

Another thing the couple of times I've seen him on the telly recently he's looked like a baby with a smacked arse, lad suffering from depression?

To be fair the only time he's really looked fed up was after arriving at the airport. 13 hour flights are pretty tiring, so it doesn't surprise me.

There are also videos and images of him smiling and pissing around with youth squad players, not that his facial expression is really an indication of where he'll go.

Apologies.... misheard it. Anyway, refer to my first line... still waiting for Terry to rule us out... BUT he won't... How do I know?

Because they are in the middle of negotiations and it'd be unprofessional to say it's a done deal when it isn't. We never did that with Lampard last season, it was all quiet until the contract was signed.

I'd like you to give me some evidence that Terry wants to go that isn't based around speculation or inevitably unreliable ITKs because you won't be able to do it where as I can find first hand quotes that say Chelsea won't sell, Terry wants a contract and he will be offered a contract.

He will only join City if negotiations fall through in my opinion.

if you are so sure / convinced that terry is staying at chelsea.....then WHY do you spend so much time on this forum bleating on about it??? if you are so confident why dont you sod off back to the shed!!! ;-)

Because City are a good tool of squeezing money out of his current employer and his wage demands would have to decrease significantly if he ruled out City? Because City would be a financially rewarding and good fall back if he can't get his wage demands from Chelsea?
