I don't really see a way back for JT he is basically mud to most chelsea fans at the moment so can't after 2 weeks of silence claim his un-dieing love for chelsea especially if given a pay rise!

He could also lose good friendships with MH and as were led to believe Bridge who has played a role in sending positive vibes to MH.

wonder if City will up the ante early part of the week by publically increasing our bid?

would be funny as fuck if we start to dictate to the chavs, we have not made any public declarations in this transfer window - it has always been the other clubs who have leaked our bids.

maybe, just maybe, we will take the bull by the horns with this one.
 
Media have speculated that City would only bid again if Terry gave some public indication that he wanted to leave / put in a rasnfer request.

City have a problem in that the Terry bid might complicate bids for other central defenders. For example if you were a central defender considering an offer from City, you'd be wondering what impact on your place if Terry came in.

Some players might welcome it, but i guess a player in the same position would be more likely to think twice.
