Chelsea may well prefer it but I'd hazard a guess Anchovie would prefer someone he can speak to easily, which italian defenders are about that would fit the bill ?

If this is true, that's a proper ITK source! Of the players who were over there, it would seem reasonable that GB would have the most likely direct contacts to the JT (England captain, similar network of mates etc). Perhaps, this is who the rockster heard it from. Or, is it really common knowledge amongst the squad?
