The club will have had positive vibes from terry one way or the other.

No way would we bid otherwise. And Chelsea's outburst adds more fuel. As does the Terry silence.

Tony Gayle is a Grade A prick.

Terry's career will end sooner if he moves to City as he will have to defend more........!!

Doesnt have to defend for 2 thirds of Chelseas season.

pmsl, just heard him. I can see the twist on that and say he will have a better chance to prove he is as good as is believed by the fact he has to play more games and be under more pressure. By Gayles own admition, Terry has fuck all to do half the season so what does that say about the player? Has he really proved himself then if that is the case? If I was Terry and heard that I would be thinking City is a good move to show the world I am the best in my possition! I wouldnt want to be know for "having it easy" Anyone else agree?

just heard tony gayle comments on ssn about cty,s bid for john terry saying his career would last longer at chelsea as he would have less defending to do, well wernt they saying yesterday that he would be more up to scratch if he stayed at chelsea because he would be playing against the best in europe and would be playing at his peak level all the time? anyway these are comments coming from a man who said glen roeder is the man for the job at west ham? then few month later said cant understand why they gave him the job? this is just typical of sky who just u turn at every opportunity to discredit city at every opportunity?

Heard him this morning, he sounded like a grade A twat, don't know the fella(thankfully) ex chelsea player or a fan?

I'd google him but cba he's just getting added to the list (of twats I'll dance a jig of delight too when he dies)the list is growing by the day and exponentially since we boarded the money train.

Is anyone else of the opinion that this board should be taken off for lets say just 24 hours to allow everyone to grab a shower and maybe something to eat, maybe even see the wife and kids again and venture outside for a bit of fresh air?

Might even allow us to cool down and stop us trying to rip each others cyber throats out!

Is anyone that arsed if John Terry doesn't sign?

Am I the only person who will not be arsed if John Terry signs for us. I think it will be a good thing for our image as he is England captain and the darling of the southern media but as a player his best days are behind him and I don't think he is worth £40m and £200k p/w.

Don't get me wrong it will be a major coup if we get him but I will not be crying into my cereal if it does not happen.

Does anybody agree or have I lost the plot?

I'm not bothered to be honest. If we did sign him then great but if we dont then we can go and get someone else. I'm not to bothered about Eto'o either so....
