Johnson

He looked like he has shaunys shorts on when he was warming up ha ha. Showed his class though and showed hes the best midfielder weve had in years in just 5mins on the pitch, imagine what he will do when he gets 90...if he lasts that long ha ha. Maybe a start against scunthorpe would be perfect timing?
 
I thought it was Freddie Flintoff.

For me I'm still not convinced about Johnson. He got off to a decent start last season but when he played against the big boys he looked very ordinary.
The new Colin Bell, well we'll have to wait and see, but I don't think so.
 
I still can't believe some people said he'd never play first team football for us again. You don't lose class and he's got a lot of it. Regular training and matches will see him lose the weight he's put on and hopefully that's the end of a bad year for him. Keep the faith.
 
There was a picture of him after training without his top on a few weeks ago. Think it was in the Mail.

Fat? Not a chance.

I wouldnt mind looking like that. He's got a 6 pack ffs.

Johnson has a little gut because he has been nursing a adominal injury for over a year. Would probably bet it was a sports hernia or something like it which means almost no physical activity.

Great to have Johnson back hopefully he step in were he left off.

To be fair when we last saw him he was 19 and just a kid, now hes 21 hes bound to be bigger
 
He looked alot slimmer than I expected!

Thought his turn to lose three players and his chipped pass to RSC was first class.

Lets encourage the lad could be our surprise package this season especially with Ireland not firing on all cylinders and Barry look out of sorts last night probably recovering from the shits!
