Joke thread

This is a true story.
There was an Irish railman who used to work sometimes at Picc and sometimes at Oxford Road.
His name was 'Tully'.

One day he was at Picc on platform 11.
On that platform was a tall post with a traditional round clock at either side.
The clocks in qiestion always showed different times.
One day a passenger asked why this was?
Tully responded, "Well sor, if they both showed the same time there'd be no point in having the two of them now, would there?"!

My Gran came from a small town a couple of miles from where I grew up.

My Dad told me that when he was in his teens, the clock on the town hall had four faces, and none of them had the correct time.

He said they used to call it the four-faced liar.
