Joleon Lescott & Micah Richards

Not a chance Richard should stay, although I think Pellegrini's treatment of him has been poor. Zab really could have done with a rest lately, not from the start but for the last 10/15 minutes of the last 2 games (had a 2 goal lead in both games). That would have saved him half an hour of arguably the most tiring part of the game.

I said the same thing yesterday. Zaba on a yellow and could do with rest or just keeping safe from injury and Richards not even sent to warm up. He's either miles away from being fit/playing or Pelli doesn't fancy him.

Would have been more use to have a youngster on the bench to take the match day atmos.

Seems the end of the road after looking like he could have been a superstar when he first broke into the team.

Lescott will be off as we've evolved past him. Always puts in 100%. Singing Top of the League as the bus past us was brilliant....and he saw us and pointed. ;)
How has his treatment been poor, when Richards came in,he was an absolute fuckin liability !

Re: Joleon Lescott & Micah Richards

Lescott hung back as the players past the south stand and got a rendition of "top of the league". After he'd lapped it up, his response was a telling wave. Guessing he's already made a commitment somewhere else, Turkey has been rumoured on here. Glad he got a medal, and best of luck wherever you land Joleon.

We can get Sagna for free. If we go for english players, they r nt cheap. We need to comply with ffp.

Sorry to see Joleon leaving and going of his twitter so is he

Very sad. At least both he and Micah can take comfort in finishing their time at City with success many players can only dream of, and success that is deserving of them both as players and servants to the club. There will still never be many better games than the FA Cup semi, FA Cup final, QPR.. And they've been at the centre of all of it.

Sad that they are leaving but at least they were featured heavily in our first title. Good memories

Lescott & Richards have played their part in our success, sadly in football these things happen and players are moved on,just a shame for micah that injuries have hampered his progress best of luck to both where ever they go...
