Difference is it's not gonna happen for YOU only in your dreams,where as Evans is a professional footballer who could score a winner as he could well be on the pitch,even if there isn't an injury another cb,it's all ifs and ands I was just putting it out there..I couldn't care less if he signs but he's not as bad as some are trying to paint him ..

I would be so happy if the window ends now. I am very happy with our current squad. Just don't think adding a Maldiniesque player would do us any good. Evans will undoubtedly demand crazy wages and a player of his ability would not be happy playing just as center back.

For all the hysterics I haven't seen anyone suggest someone else we can get at this juncture to fill a homegrown spot, who'd accept being fourth choice, has premiere league experience, and can be had for £20mm. He's fine, and he'll be fine. We don't have an unlimited budget and are clearly looking to bring in a forward as well
