West Brom asking to much,let's move on then but who else could we consider or we could just wing it and hope vinnie stays fit and none of the other cbs get injured..

No he got sent off cause he was last man and prevented Mario from a goal scoring oppurtunity, i'm not thrilled about signing Evans but if he wears the shirt i'll support him and some of the shite posted on here is fuckin embarassing.

That's a good point. It's interesting, a number of posters use the fact that JE was not identified as someone who could improve us in advance of this story as evidence of him not being good enough for us (very dodgy logic to start with). But they haven't suggested many other realistic targets.

Spoke to them all have you. And so what they're a poor side who don't even try to play football that's not snobbery that's fact. If it's a rip off walk away if peps as good as we think we have enough with what we have and he improves us with coaching. Don't fucking panic by a 4th choice cb for 30mil. Think about what your saying there.

Pep rotates so he will play plenty,west brom play 10 behind the ball,he is a defensive player not a high line on his tod type player

I think our standards nowadays are somewhat higher than this, can you imagine the backlash on here if we tried to sign a player not good enough for the rags or Sunderland and played international football for minnows wearing green. Don't be so daf............

No what's embarrassing is the sudden attempt to suggest 25mil or more for Jonny Evans AS BACK UP is a shrewd signing.

If he does a job i don't care to be honest i'll wait to see how he does if he signs before being a fuckin mard arse, like i said i'm not thrilled about it but will give the lad a chance having watched City since 1969 i'm sure i'll get by.
