This has nothing to do with Evans but it absolutely staggers me that people still go on about replacing De Jong, as if in some world we actually need a defensive midfielder. We create countless chances per game, but our final ball, decision making and finishing are the only things that let us down.

We have one defensive midfield position with three that can play there in Ferna, Yaya and Gundogan. We all always concede counter attack chances, purely because we have so many attacking players and everyone we play parks the bus.

Bit of a rant but it baffles me how an additional DM like De Jong will in any way shape or form improve our ability to break teams down and finish.

Bloody hell Kaz. That's courage beyond the call. Won't have the slimy, cheating fkrs on my TV again.

Never watched a tv rags game (Not even the sick swan) since 96 when we were blatently cheated out of that 5th round FA cup tie, by, that tosser of a referee Allan Wilkie, (Who, by my reckoning, at least, still owes me the cost of a new telly, as he was the sole cause of me damaging it beyond repair when he gave the rags that extrenely dodgy penalty.

What part is horseshit? We've just sold a very able defensive midfielder in Fernando because we have no use in the squad for that kind of player, at least not enough use to be worth a place in a limit squad. Pep simply doesn't play like that. Maybe you can argue that perhaps he should on occasions but he's not going to and therefore there's zero need for a defensive shield.

Nother 25 mill on his say so, surely ain't gonna be turned down by the fans.
in it to win it, even if jfe isn't what most would choose.
