Bang on. It's an absolute disgrace that David has been overlooked for individual awards given his consistent outstanding performances in a highly competitive era when he has won so many honours. I recall a certain Ryan Giggs (aka Home Wrecker) getting an individual award at the end of his career, not because he deserved it on the strength of his performances that season but because of his sustained high level of performance over the length of his career. Well, hush my mouth, but if David Silva hasn't been equally outstanding then I've wasted 50 years of my life playing and watching football. He is the best player to wear a City shirt, including Colin Bell, and I have spoken to dozens of opposition fans who describe him as one of the greatest players they have ever seen. Nobody I have ever spoken to describes Jordan Henderson in the same way, End of.
