Manchester City are expected to sign Jorginho over the next few days for €53m plus bonuses and a summer friendly with Napoli.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the deal is practically done with only a few details to be whittled down.

The final figure is said to be €53-55m plus bonuses and the addition of the income from a summer friendly match.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed they were at an advanced stage and had “taken a step” towards each other.

It’s a massive profit for the Partenopei, who paid €8m to take Jorginho from Hellas Verona and turned him into an Italy international.

The midfielder is currently on vacation in Brazil and is just waiting for the call so he can fly in to England for a medical.
