Gonna be interesting because we also have dinho who can do a job there. Personally I'd rather play him as a holding midfielder and buy a quality right back like semedo.

I think players, like Fern, who can play in more than one position have a huge advantage in Pep's method of playing
 
Would be an amazing signing as a both a right back and a midfielder. Would mean we only need to sign one RB (Walker) with him and Fernandinho being able to cover there.

Like you said your board may try to convince and succeed in convincing Kimmich by assuring more minutes to him but if push comes to shove, we know Bayern won't force their players to stay once they want to leave (just like they allowed Kroos to leave).

I think Maldeika knows her club and they don't let their core players go when they are under contract. Players tend to leave Bayern when the club wants them to go. Kimmich would be a great signing but I just can't see it. The speculation on Ancelotti is interesting - have always thought Löw would end up at Bayern at some point - maybe after the next World Cup?
