Joshua Kimmich

I love Kimmich but that's never gonna happen. He's the real Alaba 2.0. Literally can be played anywhere.

Here's a thought:
Instead of signing Kimmich, we should've signed Michael Reschke. He's the Bayern scout that found Coman, Costa, and Kimmich.

Who is our scout?

Why so pessimistic? Remember when Thiago Alcantara was at Barcelona he was young and talented, but at a lower pecking order than an ageing Xavi, Fabregas and Iniesta, no one would have thought he would leave for Germany when he was destined to be patient and wait for a starting spot. Instead he followed his fellow spaniard Pep to Bayern. If Pep really wants him I don't think it would be impossible for him to consider a move.

Thiago did not get much playing time after Pep was gone at Barcelona. And the transfers of Barcelona did not make it more likely that it would change sooner or later. He seemed so unimportant at Barcelona that they did not even look for his minutes who made his release clause fall to a cheap transfer sum.

Kimmich is planned as Alonso's successor even if Pep used him as a central defender because of Bayern's injury problems (that a 21-year-old 1,78 m tall player who is new to the position and level of competiton sometimes might make a mistake...) and Löw used him as a right fullback.

Kimmich has proven in smaller matches and as a substitute for Alonso that he is the future in that position, too. Like as a right fullback. Now let's look at the age of Alonso and Lahm... - and tell me if Bayern Munich would let him go... (especially as the market is so full with great players and it is so easy and cheap to get quality players)

Without Benatia (who was today at a medicine check at Juventus for a loan and sale) and Götze (who the club wants to get rid of) Bayern goes into the season with 19 field players... - that does not really look like anybody else would be for sale, or?

Below average as a fullback..How he got into the Euros team ahead of Sagna i'll never know..A good CB & an okay MF..No chance of signing him though.
