Then we have to wait for the player to pack their bags and have their goodbye meal before the medical.

Nah. Can't see this one dragging out. It will be decided either way within the next day or so. Most likely this will be a new arrival as I think we will be prepared to go a little bit over budget to get this fella. I don't think any lack of interest in Laporte will effect the deal either although his future at the club would appear over should Josko rock up.

I dont think games against us can be used as an accurate representative as to how good a player is, especially this season lol, we made benzema run to saudi tbf lol
