i checked croatian websites, nothing new except now i know where he trimmed his beard in zadar.
it may be just a coincidence but he would never go and do announcement media stuff with unkempt beard and hair so who knows, maybe he was told to get ready.

We aren't going to sell him to a rival club in England.

Barcelona are fucked money wise along with most of the top Italian clubs.

I'd very much doubt he's going to join a team that's in the Europa League.

Probably doesn't mean much since its ESPN, but Dias was rated the best CB in the world and Gvardiol was rated the second best in the world. So going off that we could have both in our team next season which is scary for the opponents.

The Laporte situation is a strange one… he’s a world class defender and at a reasonably low price, even at £50m. Someone posted earlier that no top club needs a CB (sorry, I looked but couldn’t find it) and I find that hard to believe…

We are already stacked with world class CB’s and Gvardiol is the cherry on top! But I find it hard to believe that no clubs want Laporte.. surely we’ll have takers once this one gets done. I’m happy for him to stay, but it just seems like one too many and he’s the one most unsettled when not playing regularly.

Every club is skint apart from City. :-) We won't sell La Porte to another PL club.

If Gvardiol does come in, that'll be 6 CBs at the club. Ake, Akanji, Stones, Dias, Laporte and Gvardiol. That's at least one more than we'll need, barring some horrific speight of injuries. I'd assume Laporte will leave, even though the market seems very quiet re bidders for him.
