Wirtz is a good player but getting him would just seal the deal that Pep doesn't see Phil playing centrally and to me, that would be more than disappointing.

I think Pep could change both between central and wide as he sees fit. Same with Grealish. So far he's been out wide but maybe next season he's central. Who knows what is in Pep's head.

Any position for Phil that gets him into the box more often than not is fine by me. Boys got a 20 goal a season in him ghosting into the box from deep.
