I really hope this is reliable. Wirtz or Cherki would be my main two targets to replace Mahrez. I really like them both for different reasons.

without question a hell of a player already mate, just thinking with Cherki (if Leroy isnt an option of course) then it sets us up long term while we have huge sales again this summer to offset against and refresh?
Cherki has had a very good season no doubt but he was struggling prior with injuries and lack of focus at certain points. Social media always jumps the gun for players like this. It’s the shiny new toy syndrome maybe. Wirtz has been doing it for a couple seasons now, and the best part is despite his big injury he came back and had a stellar campaign. French football will always produce another Cherki or someone like, just my opinion. Still buzzed over the treble. Don’t know if I need to see someone…no come down in sight :)The treble is history but most are still buzzing,and it certainly wasn't long enough back for some fans to get their knickers in a twist or feel depressed because,like you say, we haven't yet spent 300m in a transfer window that doesn't close for another 6 weeks.
And even if we don't,as we stand.....nothing much has changed.
