Maybe I’ve missed something but not sure why Cancelo is being discussed - Bayern have made clear they don’t want to make it permanent at the end of the season

I would happily sell Cancelo for £40m to Bayern instead of £60m to someone like Arsenal.

The problem we have with Cancelo is that outside of England, only a few teams can afford him and only realistically Bayern are interested.

It's either we offload him to them but for at a discount price, or accept the fact we will have to sell him to somewhere like Arsenal who also look interested. The price will have to be £60m.

If we can do a straight swap, that would be one of our best deals ever. Up there with bargains like Haaland, Gundogan, Alvarez, Akanji, etc.

Went off injured late on in the win at Munich tonight. Looked to be a contact injury to the left leg but was walking freely at the whistle. That win gives them Champions League income next season.
 
This signing makes so much more sense than it already did after the switch to the new formation

The guy is a perfect LCB, he can effortlessly slide into LB as Ake and Akanji have done so brilliantly

Think that Laporte is going to leave, and Gvardiol is a the best signing to replace him

I almost dread asking, but er, isn’t €100million a tad overpriced, or is he really that special?
Genuine question cos I’ve barely seen him play.

The market is fucked now mate unfortunately but Josko is VERY talented and don’t forget Pep also improves players by levels? Stones, Dias, Ake and Akanji being the defensive obvious ones .

Think of it this way, he's a 21 year old Croatian built like a tank, actually looks quite frightening which means he'll have elite mentality and coming from Zagreb probably borderline psychotic.

Great on the ball, pretty quick, potentially Ruben's level in a couple of years.

There's not that many great left footed defenders around so with him and Ake we'd be set.
