Of our CBs, I could see Laporte going to Barca. But this seems like a fanciful signing, as much as I like Gvardiol as a player
 
A lot of links seems to make it credible and I can see multiple CB but still seems like an expensive option and not a priority
 
Peps going to play XI CBs at this rate. Used to be XI midfielders ! Premiers Leagues changed him haha.
 
He can play left back, could be why we want him. He's got the potential to be one of the best in the world.

Nope, although I followed the Santi account over summer and he didn't get much wrong- although he was rarely the first with anything though. I believe the story has been broken by this Aurelien Macedo though and not Santi. I have no idea who he is.

His versatility and ability to play in a number of positions in defence will be a major attraction. If he is signed can see Laporte or Ake leaving.

Can play,

Left back
Left sided centre back
Right sided centre back
played Right back as well when Leipzig had injury issues there aswell.

His utility would give Pep loads of options.

Could be the only reason if the report is true.

Ake was ready to leave in the summer, Laporte has been linked to Real and Barca for ages.

We should be able to get £120m for those two.

Isn't Laporte a new dad/will be? Same for Gundo, Bernie wanting to settle down abroad...

Perhaps some of our older lads are ready to move on for family reasons, rather than footballing?

Macedo only has 600 followers, so this Santi fella is taking a huge leap of faith tagging them both in?

Thats what i was thinking mate as we just when people are fit have too many CB`S?

Someone, possibly @93.20blue, suggested that both will leave next summer. Perhaps this is us getting ahead of that. I can see Laporte finally getting his move and Ake will interest a few clubs, possibly Newcastle.
 
Didnt realise that he's 20 years old. Hes that good at that age, hes going to be a amazing player when he hits his prime.
