Leipzig's negotiation tactic is that they can just hold onto Gvardiol for another year if they can't sign his replacement at a reasonable price.I don't get this when they've already sold Nkunku and Szoboslai for ~150m euros. And it's not like the Gvardiol deal is a secret, the teams with the replacements aren't dumb.

And if you're asking whether I think this is a valid & sound business strategy (and therefore one adopted by our team) then my answer is yes.
A good transfer window is not juat about spending money bucket loads of cash. You can spend relatively little if you maintain your key elements & others aren't able to add 3 or 4.
