All we know is that a deal is agreed. There’s several stages. Fabrizio was backed up by the Leipzig journo who first broke the story. So either you can relax or stay panicked about all of it.

Most people believe it would still get done and it is most likely going to get done as fabrizio said both parties expect the deal to be completed.

But I don’t think it is finalized yet though because why would he still be traveling with leipzig if it was completed already. We see that Mahrez was left out by us because his deal was completed or almost complete.

But the Grealish transfer also wasn’t done.

I don’t think anyone is panicking and most people saying it is not done yet still realize that the end is near and it would be completed soon.

Has Romano ever gotten one of his “here we go” tweets wrong? I don’t think he has, certainly not a big one. Doesn’t mean he may not have jumped the gun on a few in the past and still gotten them right at the end of the day.
I believe if the agreement had been reached, that means he is sold and doesn’t act like still part of the squad the next day. He could have a medical anywhere in the world but I don’t see why he would go to Italy with the team for that instead of following our instructions. To me, it doesn’t seem like standard procedure.

I’m not an ITK, I’m going based off the information out there. The club briefed to journalists yesterday specific denial that medicals had taken place. Why are we assuming Romano’s information that a second medical is to happen is correct?

I think he was always going to go, imo. Could be the case where the delay is on our end sorting the exits and other deals. Because Leipzig have sorted their end and are more or less ready for the new season without Gvardiol. I don’t think him being a part of the squad or travelling for pre season is any indication of there being no deal or no agreement per se. I would believe a reliable journo in Guido even if I was not to believe Fabrizio.

So basically its 2 diff sets of journalists, our journalists are saying we have jumped the gun although i dont think ducker and minay are necessarily 2 of our preferred journalists, if gaughan said it , it would hold some weight, whereas romano and leipzipgs top journo said it was a done deal, its all to do with who you choose to believe.

Probably because everbody does see the world how he/she wants to see it. Guesswork and speculation. We all could wait til 1 Sept and miss absolutely nothing but our brains want to be entertained.

The club is reacting to a piece of news when they claim something isn’t done. Romano has 17 million followers on Twitter, 21 million on instagram. It’s not really news to say “nothing has happened” that’s why it doesn’t surprise me that not all the journalists who may have received that briefing decided to put it forward. And when one or two do it, the rest don’t need to repeat it. The Leipzig reporter was also reacting to Romano’s tweet btw (“yes it’s true”)

But as you rightly said 17 million followers on twitter and 21 million on instagram, he isnt fishing for likes or engagement if he posts its because he has received relevant info from whatever source, im not defending romano btw just saying its up to you what you want to believe.

Like i said if gaughan had said it rather than minay or ducker id take it as coming from the club

Gvardiol seemed to spend the first half of that video on his arse.
 
It’s only Italy. If they was flying out to America or any other long haul flight he wouldn’t be on that plane.

it’s a highlights video, they’re gonna use slide tackles. i spent a lot of time moaning about the horrible lack of slide tackles from gvardiol because i’m a football peasant and i love them. not a proper stat, just my fun and vibes factor.

My guess is that like most of Romano’s stuff, it comes from the agent. Based off his client list, he is about to receive the biggest fee of his career. The way clubs operate can escape certain agents sometimes.

Very true, I did wonder about that. You never know which bits people pull into a video and how representative it is of how the player generally plays.
 
I’m sorry but fabrizio has just got another exclusive on borges to West Ham for 14m. This is after JWE last night as well. surely that gives more weight to him saying Gvardiol is done over minay and ducker who have probably never had an exclusive in their lives
