Juanma Lillo leaves to become Al-Sadd Head Coach

He has failed as a manager at every club , he was last at a 2nd division Chinese club.

Jobs for the boys and not a man to challenge Pep.

Arteta was a huge part of our success.
I agree, and we have tailed off since Arteta left us, performances and results have steadily got worse.

I only know one thing about our new coach.

Slow coach.

I don't dispute we miss Arteta - the results since he left are evidence of that. I'm not sure though that success in management on their own is necessarily what makes a great assistant. We already have one of the great and proven assistant managers at the club - Brian Kidd, but he didn't exactly tear up trees when he went into management on his own. I suspect that the qualities that make a good assistant are quite different to those that make a good manager although there is of course overlap.

Long line of players commented on how much Arteta helped them individually to work on their game. Stones, Sterling, Walker all mentioned it.

I hope this Lillo guy is also helping them to work on their game and helps Pep tactically too.

It's impossible to really know but not been as good since Arteta left.
Our decline started with Arteta at helm.

Really don't understand this fascination with Arteta, guys doing terrible job at Arsenal. Getting battered by the likes of Villa.
