I think that’s true of many midfield players though isn’t it with Pep ? Not sure whether I read it somewhere here or elsewhere but even Iniesta had to go through that process before he gave him more responsibility and had gained a level of trust ?True, although Pep seems to think it is as he doesn’t play many youngsters in the centre of midfield.
I don’t think Bellingham is a bad player, please don’t get me wrong, he’s just not exceptional, like ours are.
I do like Bellingham thoughI think he’ll mature into a fine player, it’s his fearlessness, his drive and desire that really stands out for me, and I think whilst Pep has many forte’s, his particular pride and joy is knowing all about ‘the midfielder’, I’m sure we at least agree if we do go for him, there’s something there that Pep sees.
